Portakabin Limited awarded a credit score rating of 1 by Dunn and Bradstreet on 11th December 2009. This rating puts Portakabin in the top 15% of UK companies and shows a very low probability of business failure

Superbrands 2009

Portakabin has won Superbrand status for the second year running with an increased ranking on the previous year.

Portakabin achieved Superbrand status in 2008. Each year the 'TOP 500' list is published in the national and trade press as well as the Superbrands publication.

Buying Solutions Accredited Supplier

Portakabin has been selected by Buying Solutions as an accredited supplier. Buying Solutions is an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce in the Treasury. Its the primary role to help its public sector colleagues maximise procurement efficiency and value for money. Using the agency can save the customer 77 days and has delivered cost-savings of more than £500m.

Zurich Approved Supplier

Zurich Municipal, the UK's largest insurer of Local Education Authority buildings, has appointed Portakabin as its approved supplier of interim accommodation. The contract award followed a comprehensive research and evaluation process to ensure they received best value for money and a supplier they could rely on.

BBA (British Board of Agrément)

The BBA provides authoritative, independent information on the performance of building products. Under BBA assessment, Portakabin buildings undergo vigorous structural tests - giving you the assurance that they provide outstanding performance. Our BBA certification confirms our buildings' compliance with The Building Regulations (England, Wales and Northern Ireland), The Building Standards (Scotland) and other permanent building standards.

LABC (Local Authority Building Control)

LABC specialises in developing fast-track routes through the regulatory procedures for standard buildings, modular buildings or building systems. All Local Authorities throughout England and Wales are members of LABC. Approval of our buildings by LABC assures you that they meet rigorous, repeatable standards.
