Portakabin Teesside anniversary celebrations

Malcolm Ward, Head of Membership for North East Chamber of Commerce, joined the Portakabin Teesside Hire Centre team yesterday to help it celebrate its fifth anniversary in the region.

To mark the occasion, Portakabin, the UK’s leading modular building provider, also invited businesses in the area to join the team in its celebrations.

All attendees got the opportunity to learn more about how Portakabin products and services can benefit their business, and every fifth attendee was treated to a bottle of champagne to commemorate the occasion.

Phil Dunn, Manager at the Portakabin Teesside Hire Centre on Portrack Lane, Stockton-on-Tees, said, ‘We’re delighted to be marking our fifth anniversary in the region and are pleased that so many companies that we work with in the local area came along to celebrate with us.

‘The Open Days had a real party atmosphere with plenty of food and drink for everyone to enjoy. Visitors got the exclusive opportunity to see our full range of buildings and services, many of which were brought in especially for the occasion, including Titan - the largest single modular building available in Europe - and Portaloo steel toilet buildings. They also received a voucher entitling them to one month’s free building hire.

’All in all the days have proved to be a tremendous success and have enabled us to win some significant business.’

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Portakabin is also sponsoring the Business Studies Student of the Year Award at Hartlepool Sixth Form College, which will see the top-performing student rewarded with a cash prize.
