Ramps and steps that comply with the latest access and fire regulations
For hired buildings we offer smart, modular ramps and steps for hire. These can easily be adapted to suit your site and, because they are modular, they can easily be reconfigured if your needs change. For purchased buildings, we can construct permanent concrete or wooden ramps or steps that provide fully compliant access to your building. 

The Equality Act 2010 and Part M of the Building Regulations require that you provide easy access to ALL new and existing buildings that are larger than 30m² and will be sited for more than 28 days – whether they are permanent or temporary, and regardless of their use. The modular ramps and steps available for HIRE are:

Techramp - for buildings larger than 30m²
This unique, highly engineered, attractive aluminium ramp has been specially designed to provide full compliance with the requirements of Part M of the Building Regulations, BS8300:2009 and Equality Act 2010 guidelines. It features handrails that are anti-slip, colour contrasting and not cold to the touch, as well as colour-contrasting landings, slopes and kick plates for improved visibility. Surfaces are slip-resistant, with a maximum incline of 1:15 to meet BS8300:2009 recommendations and a minimum unobstructed width of 1.5m to meet Part M and Equality Act guidelines.

Steel ramp -for buildings smaller than 30m²
Our standard modular steel ramp is designed for buildings with a floor area smaller than 30m² or buildings of any size that will be sited for less than 28 days. It has a 1.2m unobstructed width to give 'reasonable provision' for disabled access. The all-steel frame and handrails provide high durability and the ramp has slip-resistant surfaces.

Steel steps
These safe, durable modular steps are ideal for emergency fire escape access and egress. Suitable for single or double fire doors, they have slip-resistant treads and landings and meet all building and fire regulation requirements.
