Introduction
Paton Plant Limited is a member of the highly successful Portakabin Group, the UK's leading provider of modular building systems.
We are looking to recruit a Site Supervisor based at our Hamilton site. The key purpose of this role is to supervise and control on and off-site activities in the repair, refurbishment, modification / fitting out and installation of Units to meet customer requirements through the supervision of direct and sub-contract staff where required.
Key Responsibilities
Key duties of this role are to ensure fitting out and refurbishment of hire and sales units is to required standard and within agreed cost parameters and satisfies customer requirements, maintaining a high quality of workmanship and reporting as necessary and to supervise the labour force including the programming of both Hire Centre and off site work to ensure that the required standard of refurbishing and fitting out is achieved and that Hire Fleet units are maintained in good order.
Skills Required
Excellent organisational skills are essential and previous supervisory experience would be an advantage. Some travel will be required, therefore a full driving licence is preferred.
Experience
You may be from a qualified, skilled background or with experience of production management or supervision, possibly within a multi-trade environment.
