Requirement: Throughout the racing season, the prestigious racecourse needs to provide high-quality toilet facilities for its guests. When a fire closed the main Ebor Grandstand, a damaged ventilation system left the Racecourse in need of an emergency restroom solution just days prior to the John Smiths Cup meet.

Solution: Portaloo was able to provide first-class amenities within 48 hours which met the exceptionally high expectations of race clientele at what is a key event of the flat racing season. The John Smith Cup attracts around 45,000 visitors.

The Racecourse, which has seven units on permanent hire throughout the racing season, required six additional top-of-the-range units, including one, which Portaloo craned into an extremely awkward position on the second floor balcony.
