Emergency Building Contingency Plan

Keep your business moving in the event of an emergency

If a fire, flood or other emergency damages your buildings, your top priority is to minimise disruption to your employees and customers. That may mean providing high quality, interim specialist facilities until your buildings can be repaired or rebuilt.

As a preferred supplier of Zurich Insurance, Portakabin is offering a free Emergency Buildings Plan to ensure you’re well prepared for an emergency and you can provide a continuous service to your customers.

The Emergency Buildings plan includes:

  • A breakdown of the different applications required
  • An assessment of the space on site available for the decanted facilities
  • An estimate of the average capacity of your buildings, to ensure minimal disruption to staff and operations
  • A breakdown of other needs such as: waste, drainage, electricity supply, access ramps, climate control, furniture and fire and security
  • A full comprehensive report summarising your building needs, a breakdown of the cost along with everything you need to know about emergency building provision

Don’t just take our word for it

We were very pleased with the response from Portakabin. They stuck rigidly to their works plan to get the building finished on schedule. Everyone who has visited it so far has been genuinely impressed by the quality and feel of the building. The service provided by Portakabin was excellent; nothing was too much trouble and any alterations we requested were quickly actioned with no fuss.

It was clear that only Portakabin had the capacity to meet our specified deadlines for transferring staff from Stansted. They built 1,300m2 of high-quality office accommodation in three stages, which allowed for the seamless integration of personnel into the easyJet operation. We currently have 200 people in the new building.
