Ordering your building via a framework saves both time and money, as well as bringing reassurance. To qualify for membership, the framework carries out rigorous assessments of suppliers, on your behalf, giving you a straightforward and compliant procurement route.

Public sector procurement frameworks

NHS frameworks and other public sector frameworks exist to make the process of procurement as easy and commercially beneficial for the public sector as possible. By using NHS frameworks and especially the NHS procurement framework, Trusts can rest assured that suppliers have been pre-vetted to offer the best value and quality. NHS supply chain frameworks are also the fastest route to procurement.

On average, the spend on framework procurement is circa 3% less than via the tender process

  • Streamlines the process
  • Reduces the cost and time of the procurement stage
  • Confirms your supplier’s quality credentials
  • Assures you of the cost-effectiveness of your supplier

Benefit from our framework memberships

Portakabin has been awarded a place on a number of frameworks following a competitive Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) process.

Each framework offers the option of a turnkey approach to the design, manufacture, supply and installation.

The competitive OJEU process has confirmed that Portakabin has the necessary insurances, certification, policies and procedures in place to meet all statutory requirements including building regulations.

These frameworks can be used by any public sector organisation and are available nationally and locally.

We do the hard work, so you don’t have to

The procurement route via a framework means you can rest assured that we’ve already met and passed stringent controls. You’ll be working with the best possible supplier.

Direct award is especially beneficial if your timescales are tight.

Case Studies

We had an extremely tight timescale to deliver this complex healthcare building for the relocation of clinical services – but I am delighted to report that this was achieved and we would definitely recommend Portakabin modular solutions to other healthcare providers.
